About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial Door Technicians to service commercial doors and related products in Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas. The role involves repairing and installing a range of commercial doors and dock equipment, identifying opportunities to offer customers relevant products and services, and completing job-related paperwork. Technicians are expected to work safely at all times.

The company provides a truck after training completion, pays for fuel, offers tool and boot allowances, and provides paid training. Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work at heights, and use a ladder. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. A high school diploma or GED and prior experience in a similar or mechanically oriented role are preferred.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial doors, including roll-up doors, high-speed doors, door hardware, dock equipment, or similar skilled trades in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or install commercial doors and dock hardware, including rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, dock levelers, and related equipment.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
• Work in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
