About The Position

Kamco Supply is hiring a full-time Commercial Door Project Manager for its Division 8 door and hardware business. The position is based out of the Albany, New York branch and requires a thorough understanding of hollow metal doors, wood doors, frames, and hardware.

The Project Manager handles jobs from takeoff through completion, including estimating, preparing quotes and bids, communicating with customers and vendors, and purchasing materials. The role requires managing multiple projects and being self-starting and sales motivated.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the Division 8 sector, specializing in doors, frames, and hardware.
• Estimating experience and knowledge.
• Ability to identify errors in specifications and communicate them to customers when needed.
• Knowledge of industry manufacturers and vendors, including Assa Abloy, Allegion, Hager, Pemko, Masonite, and DeLaFontaine.
• Knowledge of industry software, such as ProCore, Building Connect, and Software for Hardware.
• Self-starter who is sales motivated.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email.
• Manage jobs from takeoff through completion.
• Complete takeoffs and read construction plans.
• Create quotes, bids, and sales orders.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain material pricing.
• Create purchase orders and purchase materials.
• Handle multiple projects at the same time.
