About The Position

Kamco Supply is hiring an experienced Commercial Door Project Manager for its Division 8 (doors and hardware) business. The role is based out of the Rochester, NY branch and requires a full understanding of hollow metal doors, wood doors, frames, and hardware. The Project Manager runs jobs from takeoff through completion, communicates with customers and vendors, and coordinates estimating, quoting, sales orders, and material purchasing. The position involves managing multiple projects at once and calls for a self-starter with sales motivation.

The annual salary is $75,000–$90,000, based on experience and knowledge. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, overtime, 401(k) matching, dental, vision, and life insurance. Weekends are not required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the Division 8 sector, specializing in doors, frames, and hardware.
• Estimating experience and knowledge.
• Ability to identify errors in specifications and communicate them to customers when needed.
• Knowledge of industry manufacturers and vendors, including Assa Abloy, Allegion, Hager, Pemko, Masonite, and DeLaFontaine.
• Knowledge of industry software, including ProCore, Building Connect, and Software for Hardware.
• Self-starter with sales motivation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email.

• Complete takeoffs and read construction plans.
• Create quotes, bids, and sales orders.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain material pricing.
• Create purchase orders and purchase materials.
• Handle multiple projects at the same time.
