About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking Commercial Service Technicians in the Punta Gorda, Florida area and surrounding communities. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment at customer locations. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held. The company offers competitive hourly rates and overtime pay, a company vehicle and cell phone, benefits, paid time off including holidays, a 401(k) with company match, technical training opportunities, and participation in its Town Shares program. Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a driving record that aligns with the company’s safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
• Lift and move equipment and materials as required, including loads up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently with assistance and lifting equipment.
