About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is hiring experienced Commercial Service Technicians to serve Tampa, Gainesville, and surrounding areas. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment at customer locations. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held, and experienced technicians may be eligible for a signing bonus of up to $1,500.

The role includes customer service, timely completion of service calls, identifying new customers and opportunities within existing accounts, and participation in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules. Technicians maintain their service vehicles and order necessary parts. The position involves regular lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds with assistance and lifting equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Driving record must align with the company’s safety standards.

• CFESA certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
