About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking Commercial Service Technicians in the Sarasota, Florida area and surrounding communities. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment at customer locations, while providing timely service and meeting customer expectations. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held. The posting advertises competitive pay and a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for experienced technicians.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a driving record that aligns with the company's safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
• Lift and/or move equipment or items as described in the physical demands.
