About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking qualified Commercial Service Technicians in the Punta Gorda, Florida area and surrounding communities. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment at customer locations. The role includes providing excellent customer service, completing service calls promptly, identifying customer opportunities, maintaining a service vehicle, and ordering parts. Technicians participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules and must be able to meet the stated lifting requirements. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Driving record must align with the company’s safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lifting equipment.
