About The Position

The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for selling commercial services to a diverse portfolio of business verticals. This outside sales position involves working inbound leads, prospecting for new leads, and developing a commercial book of business within an assigned territory. The role requires inspecting for pest control needs, developing customized pest control agreements, and expanding the company's footprint geographically. The CAM is accountable for meeting sales goals and activity targets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No pest management experience necessary.
  • Ability to learn practical and technical knowledge of duties, functions, service, and product offerings, terminology, work procedures, systems, and company policies.
  • Excellent telephone and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Strong oral, computer, word processing, and typing skills.
  • Requires constant contact with clients and Service Teams.
  • Requires use of office equipment such as fax, copier, computer, headset, and phone.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the number of commercial clients in a defined sales territory.
  • On-site inspection and assessment of pest control needs.
  • Sell commercial pest management service programs to commercial, institutional, industrial, and municipal facilities.
  • Generate leads from advertising and passive referrals, in addition to developing new clients within a sales territory.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting utilizing the tracking system, Salesforce, including sales calls made, proposals submitted, and disposition of prospects.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and paperwork to the appropriate Service Center for rendering services sold.
  • Operate and maintain an assigned vehicle in accordance with all motor vehicle laws, company policies and manufacturer's recommendations.

Benefits

  • Special compensation during the 60-day training period (150% of normal weekly base salary for the first 30 days, 125% for the next 30 days).
  • Base salary plus commission on all new business and sales within the CAM’s Book of Business after the probationary period.
  • Quarterly bonuses for account retention, referrals, and recommendations from commercial clients.
  • Commissions are payable while earning transitional wages during the probationary period.
