About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a premier residential and commercial roofing company to hire an experienced Commercial Account Manager (CAM) who serves as a trusted advisor, builds strong client relationships, solves challenges, and delivers exceptional customer experiences. In this role the CAM will manage the full lifecycle of commercial roofing projects within your territory, from prospecting and inspections to contract execution and completion, while delivering a seamless, transparent, and results-driven customer experience. The CAM will also generate opportunities, educate decision-makers, collaborate with estimating and production teams, and ensure every customer receives the best experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial roofing, construction-related sales, or property service industries required
  • Required experience working with building owners, property managers, and/or general contractors
  • Skilled in using CRM platforms (AccuLynx preferred), project management systems, and digital communication technologies
  • Able to safely access and inspect roofs, use ladders, and perform duties in elevated environments when necessary
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a professional and consultative approach to client interactions
  • Motivated self-starter capable of generating leads, developing a sales pipeline, and independently closing business deals

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and pursue commercial roofing opportunities within assigned markets
  • Conduct property walks, inspections, and visual assessments to evaluate roofing conditions and project needs
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and key stakeholders
  • Represent the company at local networking events, trade shows, or community functions to generate new business
  • Educate customers on roofing solutions, restoration vs. replacement options, insurance claims (when applicable), and the company’s value proposition
  • Partner with the estimating team to prepare and present accurate, professional proposals.
  • Present contracts and guide customers through the signing process with transparency and confidence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the sales and pre-production phases
  • Work closely with the estimating team to ensure scopes are properly defined and submitted on time
  • Collaborate with production team to communicate expectations, coordinate timelines, and verify materials
  • Manage projects from signed contract through final invoicing, proactively addressing updates and delays
  • Conduct final walk-throughs, collect final payments, and generate reviews and referrals
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, communications, contracts, jobs, and photos within AccuLynx
  • Upload and organize required documents to ensure complete and production-ready job files
  • Manage and organize project photos in CompanyCam or similar platforms for tracking and visibility
