About The Position

Concentration sur l’environnement changeant du commerce international, d’un point de vue stratégique, compétitif et économique. Plusieurs facteurs sont analysés dans une perspective régionale et globale, notamment les flux commerciaux, le rôle des institutions internationales et les accords régionaux de commerce et les tendances des marchés émergents sont analysés. Les questions liées à l’éthique, aux problèmes environnementaux, à la responsabilité sociale des entreprises sont aussi envisagées. Ce cours inclut une expérience d’apprentissage expérientiel de haute intensité. Le cours sera offert en personne.

Requirements

• Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in a field related to international trade.
• Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's subject area.
• Must have good teaching experience, preferably in the field of international trade.
• Competence in a second language (passive) is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach the course "Commerce international" (ADM3718M) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
• Deliver the course in French.
• Conduct the course in person.
• Incorporate an intensive experiential learning experience into the course.
• Analyze strategic, competitive, and economic aspects of the changing international trade environment.
• Examine regional and global factors including trade flows, the role of international institutions, regional trade agreements, and emerging market trends.
• Address ethical issues, environmental concerns, and corporate social responsibility within the context of international trade.

Benefits

• Hourly rate for teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025)
• Vacation pay and statutory pay are not included in the hourly rate.
• Rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified; retroactivity will be paid after ratification.
