About The Position

Combo Bartenders work under the direction of F&B Management to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service and create an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on preparing and serving craft cocktails, responding to guests’ needs, processing orders accurately, and maintaining responsible alcohol-service standards. Bartenders also maintain the bar and surrounding area, meet health and safety standards, and work in varied service environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to complete the knowledge and skills assessment and pass the knowledge and practical skills assessment.
Working knowledge of correct equipment maintenance and use.
Able to communicate effectively in English, in written and oral forms.
Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance and proper personal hygiene.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening effectively and communicating positively with team members, guests, and management.
Maintain a friendly, upbeat, outgoing, and energetic personality.
Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
Reliable and conscientious, accurate, and detail-oriented.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing work environments, service positions, outlet team structures, and Las Vegas weather conditions.
Ability to meet company production and quality standards.
Physical ability to access all areas of the facility; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; and perform prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing at least 50 pounds without restriction.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in fast-paced, busy, and noisy environments.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors and tolerate hot or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
Food Handlers/Health Card, Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card, Pour Card, and Union Referral listed under licenses and certifications.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience as a bartender.
Previous experience working with complex craft cocktails.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

Create memorable craft cocktails.
Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs and make drink suggestions based on their preferences.
Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks properly and promptly.
Accurately enter and ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
Follow responsible alcohol-service standards, including slowing down or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary.
Practice, support, and promote company policies and procedures.
Know the available drinks and their costs, answer guest questions, and work quickly and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding area.
Meet and exceed SNHD health and safety standards.
Complete the required knowledge and practical skills assessments.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
