About The Position

Combo Bartenders work under the direction of F&B Management to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service and create an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on preparing and serving craft cocktails, engaging with guests, accurately processing orders, and following responsible alcohol service standards. Bartenders also maintain the bar and surrounding area, meet health and safety standards, and work in a fast-paced service environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to complete and pass the knowledge and practical skills assessment.
Working knowledge of the correct maintenance and use of equipment.
Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance and proper personal hygiene.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective listening and positive communication with team members, guests, and management.
Maintain a friendly, upbeat, outgoing, and energetic personality.
Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
Must be reliable, conscientious, accurate, and detail-oriented.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments, service positions, and outlet team structures.
Ability to adapt to Las Vegas weather, including wind, rain, extreme heat, and extreme cold.
Ability to stand for extended periods and meet production and quality standards.
Physical ability to access all facility areas; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; and perform prolonged stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying of items weighing at least 50 pounds without restriction.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, busy, and noisy environment.
Food Handlers/Health Card, Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card, Pour Card, and Union Referral are listed under Licenses & Certifications.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience as a bartender.
Previous experience working with complex craft cocktails.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

Create memorable craft cocktails.
Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs and make drink suggestions based on their preferences.
Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks properly and promptly.
Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off an intoxicated guest when necessary.
Practice, support, and promote company policies and procedures.
Know available drinks and their costs, answer guest questions, and work quickly and efficiently.
Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and surrounding area.
Meet and exceed SNHD health and safety standards.
Meet the company's production and quality standards.
