About The Position

Richelieu is hiring experienced Color Matchers to join its team in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Color Matcher mixes, formulates, and applies coatings and tints to protect or decorate surfaces, using spray guns, pens, or brushes. The role also provides warehouse support as needed, helping the warehouse team deliver accurate products and strong customer service. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Related experience in a similar position.
• Must be able or willing to learn to operate a forklift.
• Ability to stand for long periods and bend and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Excellent driving record, free of violations.
• High school diploma required.

• One or more years of post-high-school studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix, formulate, and apply coatings and tints to sample materials.
• Read job orders and inspect surfaces to determine the procedures and materials required.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for coating and tinting jobs.
• Inspect finished products for color accuracy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Provide warehouse support as needed, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and forklift operation.
• Sort and organize merchandise so it can be easily located.
• Keep records of items received and damaged merchandise returned.
• Provide customer support when needed.
• Work with the distribution team to improve company profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Check products against orders for accuracy.
• Ensure orders leave the facility in a manner consistent with Richelieu's Core Values.
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other required technologies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
