About The Position

The Collision Repair Planner prepares accurate, comprehensive estimates for vehicle repairs by assessing vehicle damage, determining necessary repairs, and calculating labor and material costs in collaboration with technicians and other team members. The role ensures estimates are precisely documented and supports workflow coordination, quality assurance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the repair facility.

The work environment may include an office or remote workspace, using typical desktop computing equipment. The position involves extended periods of computer use and may require lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Experience writing estimates for an auto body shop or insurance company.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience with CCC estimating software.
