About The Position
The College Recruiter will be based at the Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) Richmond Campus and assist with all aspects of prospective student outreach and engagement. The recruiter represents WCJC at community outreach events and helps provide prospective students with a welcoming and engaging initial experience. Applicants must attach a bachelor’s degree transcript, resume, and cover letter outlining relevant work experience to one online application. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Communication skills and ability to engage with students and/or adult learners.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with database information.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to provide continuous courteous customer service to students, parents, the community, staff, and administration.
- Criminal background check required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of prospective student outreach and engagement.
- Represent WCJC at community outreach events.
- Provide a welcoming and engaging initial experience for prospective students.
