About The Position

Envoy Air is seeking a college intern to assist its Maintenance Training Developers/Department. During the paid 11-week summer internship, the intern will help review, update, and create web-based and computer-based training courses, as well as create and edit video presentations. The role provides practical experience in commercial aviation and opportunities to build a professional network.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in aviation maintenance management, instructional design and technology, industrial systems, or a related field.
• Be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at the start of the internship.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of Instructional Systems Design and the ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation).
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Be proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Captivate or Articulate.
• Be skilled in incorporating media such as videos, photos, and graphics into training programs.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
• Be able to work in a team, prioritize projects to meet deadlines and objectives, work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on time, and be self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Courseware/Curriculum Developer or A&P Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and maintain aircraft-specific training materials for Maintenance and Technical Services.
• Collaborate with Mechanics, Crew Chiefs, and Supervisors to create practical aircraft training programs for Maintenance Personnel.
• Assess training materials through direct observation, instructor feedback, data analysis, Maintenance Safety Compliance reports, ASAP information, and input from Maintenance management.
• Assist with reviewing, updating, and creating Web-based Training and Computer Based Training courses.
• Create and edit video presentations.
