Collector / Underwriter (Consumer Finance)
About The Position
CNAC is Byrider’s exclusive lending company. We are currently seeking a Collector / Underwriter to join our team in Dayton! This role involves managing collections activities while maintaining positive customer relations, handling customer communications regarding payment solutions, and reviewing customer accounts to assist with underwriting and credit decisions. The position also requires evaluating customer information, payment history, and supporting documentation, assisting with lending and credit origination processes, and ensuring branch and lending compliance standards are maintained. Additionally, the Collector / Underwriter will support customer retention efforts, work within consumer finance and underwriting software systems, demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism, and attend ongoing training and development classes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in collections, underwriting, consumer finance, customer retention, banking, call center, sales, or related fields
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work scheduled hours and remain fully onsite
- Ability to pass a background check

- Experience reviewing credit applications or making lending decisions preferred
