About The Position

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Collections Rep to join our Business Office Team! The facility Collector is responsible for the collection of facility claims with insurance companies. Which can include follow-up on unpaid claims, collection of assigned patient accounts by contacting patients and third-party payers to resolve all outstanding owed balances. Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 86-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a collections or business office setting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a level one fingerprint clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Pereferrable knowledge of collection procedures, insurance filling procedures, CPT codes.

Responsibilities
