About The Position

The Collections Specialist position is responsible for managing and collecting all of the outstanding accounts receivables from customers and vendors. In addition, they are responsible for resolving customer issues/concerns and reducing the amount of accounts receivables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years previous A/R or billing experience is required
  • Sage Mas 500 experience is required
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Ability to use individual discretion while dealing with clients
  • Problem resolving, computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Major in Business Administration is preferred
  • Experience with an automated Accounts Receivable and Collections Software system, BillTrust Invoice Gateway, and Sage Mas 500 experience is preferred
  • Project/Contract knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio as part of a Team Collection Goal.
  • Documenting daily collections activity allowing other eClinicalWorks Team Members ability to support collection efforts across all accounts.
  • Researching & resolving account disputes and billing discrepancies, building long term business relationships.
  • Performing account/payment reconciliations.
  • Monitor account collection inquiries through Support Cases.
  • Identify delinquent accounts, reducing active support and licensing creating and monitoring internal tasks.
  • Discuss payment plan/arrangement.
  • Educate customers on Invoice Portal for Self Service and Payment Options.
  • Responding to credit inquiries from external clients.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
