About The Position

The Collections Specialist II works in Abbott’s Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business at the Lake Mary, Florida location. The role resolves complex denied claims and reduces accounts receivable (AR) aging. The work covers denial management and appeals, AR monitoring, third-party payer follow-up, patient collections, reconciliation and reporting, and compliance and systems.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of healthcare revenue cycle or collections experience.
• Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and familiarity with coding.
• Experience with billing platforms and Excel.
