About The Position

The Collections Representative I is an entry-level position responsible for contacting customers with past-due balances to arrange payment, resolve billing issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role provides a foundation in collections operations and company policies. This is a hybrid position based at one of Segra’s offices in Waynesboro, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Kansas City, Missouri; or Columbia, South Carolina. Employees must work in the office at least three days each week and may work remotely two days each week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in collections and customer service.
• Analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and a CRM system.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred.
