Our Collections Clerk delivers exceptional service while coordinating collection efforts with members. We are looking for a candidate that also possesses the following skills; a high school diploma or equivalent, math aptitude and keyboarding skills. Requirements

  • 6 months credit union, related financial, or customer service experience
  • Conscientious, and performs accurate work with respect for regulations and standards
  • The ability to work independently while displaying initiative and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interface with members in a positive manner with empathy, courtesy and tact
  • Professional communication skills across various platforms (phone, video-chat text, email, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Display a high level of professionalism
  • Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union’s mission and values

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Work early collections phone calls
  • Process collections on negative accounts and debit cards
  • Process online loan payments
  • Backup other essential functions in the department as needed
