About The Position

Manuel Diaz Law Firm, PC is seeking an ambitious, dedicated, outgoing, and passionate bilingual (English/Spanish) Collection Specialist to join its Collections team. The role provides a broad spectrum of customer service under the supervision of the Collections Manager and supports the firm’s mission of guiding and empowering the community through exceptional legal services. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday, and is in person at the firm’s Mesquite office. The employee may need to travel to other firm office locations as needed. The hourly pay is $20.00. Benefits are available to eligible employees.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
Willingness to support and work in a team and exhibit a can-do attitude.
Ability and willingness to travel to support other firm office locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and guests.
Accept payments.
Establish promises-to-pay.
Maintain and conduct contact lists of potential clients for payments.
Perform data entry.
Set up payment plans.
Perform additional clerical duties as needed.
Perform other duties assigned by the Collections Manager or Chief Accounting Officer.
Travel to support other firm office locations as needed.
