About The Position

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is hiring Coiler Operators at its Ennis Spring location in Ennis, Texas. This is a full-time, hourly position working the night shift, Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Coiler Operators maintain efficient machine operation by clearing jams, making repairs, and performing routine and preventative maintenance. They inspect and adjust units to meet production specifications and quality standards, repair non-conforming or defective units, and complete quality checks and check sheets to verify product specifications.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to measure in inches and millimeters.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Remove jams, make repairs, and perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain efficient machine operation.
• Inspect units and make adjustments to ensure they meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Repair non-conforming and defective units.
• Perform quality checks and complete check sheets to verify product specifications.
