About The Position

Mollie Stone’s Markets is hiring a part-time Coffee Shift Lead at its Grand Central location in San Francisco. The role is suited to a customer-service-driven candidate who can flexibly handle a variety of daily tasks. The Shift Lead prepares beverages and food products to recipe and presentation standards, follows health, safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and operational procedures, and responds to customers’ spoken and perceived needs. The position may direct the work of others. This is a non-union position with competitive pay of $19.61–$23 per hour, plus tips. The company describes itself as a local, family-owned grocery chain serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1986, with a focus on healthy, natural, and specialty foods.

Requirements

Previous coffee experience is required.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.

Must be able to regularly lift at least 25 pounds.
Able to stand up to 8 hours per day.
Able to walk up to 8 hours per day.
Able to reach up to 4 hours per day.
