About The Position

Mollie Stone’s Markets is hiring a part-time Bakery Clerk for its Greenbrae location. The role is suited to a customer-service-driven person who is flexible and comfortable taking on varied tasks. The clerk assists with receiving, checking, rotating, inventorying, stocking, wrapping, packaging, and pricing bakery products; answers phones and takes special orders; bakes as needed and keeps display racks stocked; and greets customers while providing exceptional service. This is a union position with a listed pay range of $20–$29.98 per hour, depending on industry experience. Candidates must be local to the area. Duties and responsibilities may change.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Passion for baking.
Available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Local candidates only.
Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 pounds.
Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Able to walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Able to reach for up to 4 hours per day.

Previous bakery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving and unloading merchandise and check products for quality, count, and condition.
Rotate ingredients and merchandise in accordance with company policy.
Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas.
Wrap, package, and accurately price products.
Answer phones and take special orders.
Bake as needed throughout the day and keep display racks stocked.
Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
