About The Position

Mollie Stone’s Markets is hiring a Cashier/APC (All Purpose Clerk) for its Tower location. The role is suited to a customer-service-driven, flexible team member who can work in cashiering or other departments according to store needs. The position involves processing sales, handling money, bagging groceries, helping customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting stocking and other general store tasks. This is a union position offering competitive pay of $20.00–$25.95 per hour, depending on industry experience. Requirements

A passion for unique, fresh food and a team-centered attitude.
Ability to identify produce quality or freshness by sight or smell.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand upright for up to eight hours per day.
Availability to work a flexible shift, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Process sales at the register and accurately and efficiently scan and identify products.
Handle money.
Bag groceries and provide carry-out service when needed.
Retrieve baskets and carts for the store.
Perform cleanup and general housekeeping duties.
Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions.
Maintain knowledge of weekly advertised items and direct customers to products throughout the store.
Restock inventory, conduct price checks, and return products to their proper shelf locations.
Work in other departments based on store needs.
