About The Position

This position is for internal candidates and involves training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates to maintain performance standards and oversee all Coffee Bar activities. The role is primarily conducted in a store environment with exposure to cold temperatures when handling products in the cooler and freezer. It requires significant responsibility for customer service levels and managing multiple priorities. The position also involves working with sharp knives and occasional exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement hazards in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented.
  • Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions.
  • Ability to write identifying information, and request supplies orally or in writing.
  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to read the descriptions on the boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in the proper locations.
  • Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
