About The Position

A cocktail server walks the casino floor to take beverage requests and provide beverages to guests while maintaining exceptional guest service. The role requires a professional, courteous approach, attention to guests’ needs, and use of alcohol awareness practices. The server completes side work and prepares the work area for the succeeding shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Prior serving experience required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
Must have alcohol awareness training and certification.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Ability to handle money and make correct change using a POS system.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Must present a professional appearance and demeanor.
Must maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to work well with others and handle stressful situations.
Effective learning skills.
Ability to be physically mobile and stand or walk during shifts, move in small spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and bend, stoop, push, kneel, reach overhead, ascend and descend stairs, and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
Ability to work in areas with dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and varying air quality.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
