About The Position

Soccer Shots New Orleans is seeking a full-time Coaching & Training Coordinator. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional interested in youth development, coaching, and leadership. The position involves leading children's soccer sessions, mentoring new coaches, and supporting coaching operations. It is an active role, not a desk job, requiring significant time spent on the field with children aged preschool to elementary.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children
• Experience coaching, teaching, camp counseling, childcare, or similar roles
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Coach 20+ Soccer Shots sessions each week.
• Create an energetic, encouraging, and safe environment for every child.
• Deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, teachers, and school partners.
• Assist with on-field training for newly hired part-time coaches.
• Demonstrate best coaching practices and serve as a role model.
• Provide encouragement, feedback, and ongoing support to help coaches succeed.
• Help maintain the high coaching standards Soccer Shots is known for.
• Work closely with the Executive Director and Coaching Support team.
• Assist with coach communication and day-to-day coaching needs.
• Utilize Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team operations.
• Help ensure coaches have the tools and information they need to be successful.
