About The Position
Soccer Shots New Orleans is looking for a full-time Coaching & Training Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional aiming to build a career in youth development, coaching, and leadership. The position involves leading engaging Soccer Shots sessions for preschool and elementary-aged children, mentoring new coaches, and supporting the coaching staff. The goal is to make a positive impact on children's lives and grow into future leadership opportunities.

Nice To Haves
- Experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children.
- Experience coaching, teaching, camp counseling, childcare, or similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 20+ Soccer Shots sessions each week, creating an energetic, encouraging, and safe environment.
- Deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, teachers, and school partners.
- Assist with on-field training for newly hired part-time coaches, demonstrating best practices and serving as a role model.
- Provide encouragement, feedback, and ongoing support to help coaches succeed.
- Help maintain the high coaching standards of Soccer Shots.
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Coaching Support team.
- Assist with coach communication and day-to-day coaching needs.
- Utilize Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team operations.
- Help ensure coaches have the necessary tools and information to be successful.
