About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Co-Lead Teacher for a young twos classroom. The role involves planning developmentally appropriate activities, following the daily schedule, providing basic care and caregiving routines, monitoring children’s developmental milestones, and communicating with parents about their children’s activities.
Requirements
- Must have EDU119 or an equivalent qualification, or an associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience as a teacher in a licensed setting is required.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Patient, kind, and nurturing.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan developmentally appropriate activities.
- Follow the daily schedule.
- Provide basic care and caregiving routines, including diapering and potty training.
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones.
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities.
