About The Position

Subconscious is building the intelligence to run the economy. We start with a simulator for business decisions, using causal experiments on simulated markets to test products, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market choices before capital is committed. Our long-term ambition is to help businesses discover unmet demand and build around what people actually need. This is a founder-level opportunity with material financial risk.

Requirements

  • Led complex enterprise engagements in consulting, AI or data deployment, professional services, or an early-stage operating role.
  • Taken an unclear executive request through implementation and can explain the measurable result and your personal contribution.
  • Build trust with senior customers and work fluently with research, engineering, product, and data teams.
  • Made difficult scope, capacity, or commercial tradeoffs and communicated them before an engagement failed.
  • Create useful operating discipline and can do the work before hiring people to own it.

Responsibilities

  • Own a small portfolio of enterprise relationships through kickoff, delivery, executive readout, renewal, and expansion.
  • Translate ambiguous objectives into a clear business decision, experiment scope, acceptance criteria, and accountable workstreams.
  • Build company operations across people, finance, vendors, legal, and security, coordinating the right specialists.
  • Work directly with the founding team to make commitments, capacity, and cash needs visible.
  • Establish an engagement plan for each customer with the decision to be made, required data, deliverables, owners, dependencies, and commercial next step.
  • Create a shared delivery cadence that surfaces scope changes, missing data, product limitations, and security requirements early.
  • Develop executive readouts that explain findings, assumptions, uncertainty, and the decisions the evidence can support.
  • Build repeatable practices for kickoff, data intake, delivery, acceptance, renewal, and expansion.
  • Establish a practical operating rhythm for cash planning, vendor commitments, hiring priorities, and company accountability.

Benefits

  • 3%–5% equity
  • No cash salary is currently available.
  • A future market-competitive salary depends on financing and a separately agreed package; funding and timing are not guaranteed.
