About The Position

We are supporting a funded early-stage startup building an AI-powered platform focused on transforming healthcare payment and revenue-cycle operations. The company is developing intelligent solutions that automate complex healthcare financial workflows, improve operational efficiency, streamline payment processes, and deliver greater visibility across healthcare payment ecosystems. This is a hands-on CTO Co-Founder opportunity for an entrepreneurial technology leader who can architect, build, and scale products from the ground up while establishing and leading a high-performing engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proven experience building products from zero-to-one
  • Strong expertise in software architecture and system design
  • Experience leading engineering teams and technical initiatives
  • Ability to remain hands-on while managing technical strategy
  • Strong product mindset and customer-focused approach
  • Experience building scalable cloud-native applications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

  • Previous founder, co-founder, founding engineer, or early-stage startup experience
  • Experience in high-growth technology environments

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company's technology vision and engineering strategy
  • Architect and build the initial product platform from concept to market
  • Design scalable, secure, and reliable software systems
  • Lead development of AI-enabled workflow automation capabilities
  • Evaluate and select technology stack, infrastructure, and development practices
  • Build integrations across healthcare, billing, claims, payment, and financial systems
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead the engineering team
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, investors, advisors, and customers
  • Drive product execution from MVP through commercial scale
