About The Position
Cinova Medical, Inc. is seeking a full-time, hands-on CNC Programmer/Machinist to join its team in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves programming with Mastercam and PowerMill, creating and editing cutter paths, setting up and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurements. The position produces high-quality parts to customer specifications and requires an understanding of CNC technology and lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of CNC programming, setup, and operation experience.
- Experience with Mastercam and/or PowerMill.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Comfort holding tight tolerances of ±0.0005 inches or better.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Nice To Haves
- Mold making or mold repair experience; injection mold experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Wire or sinker EDM experience.
- Surface grinding experience.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit CNC programs in Mastercam and PowerMill.
- Use SolidWorks models and drawings to plan machining of mold components.
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machining centers.
- Select tooling, fixtures, feeds and speeds, and work holding.
- Perform hard milling and surfacing.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gages, pins, and other inspection tools.
- Identify and resolve machining problems and improve cycle times.
