About The Position

Oakworks is hiring a CNC Mill Operator for its Mill Department in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. The operator creates components for medical, spa, and massage tables by setting up and operating CNC machinery to route wood and plastics. The role is suited to someone with mechanical ability who understands machining and fabrication processes and enjoys making quality parts, varied work, and contributing to a team.

The position is full-time and works the second shift, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. A $3.00-per-hour shift differential applies after 3:00 p.m. Oakworks is a family-owned company that produces medical, spa, and massage equipment in a modern 91,000-square-foot facility. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical ability and understanding of manufacturing processes involving machining and fabrication.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to use a tape measure to validate quality.
• Ability to assemble electrical and mechanical components.
• Computer literacy.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to become forklift certified within 90 days.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods each day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Two years of work experience in manufacturing, or specific education or training.
