About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join the team in Akron, Ohio, on a 1st shift schedule. The role performs setup and operational functions for CNC mill turn machines used to fabricate medical instruments and implants. The operator also deburrs and inspects parts using various tools and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience operating a CNC machine.
• Advanced print reading knowledge.
• Advanced GD&T knowledge.
• Experience performing CNC setups.
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC mill turn machines independently.
• Perform machine setup activities.
• Perform daily machine preventative maintenance independently.
• Process required documentation, including job travelers and I.P. sheets.
• Facilitate use of the First Piece Log.
• Conduct tool changes.
• Conduct change-overs and tool size changes.
• Set tooling on all machine types within the assigned zone.
• Deburr parts and inspect parts using various tools and equipment.
