CNC Machinist - 1st Shift
About The Position
Donaldson is hiring a CNC Machinist for its Dixon, Illinois location. The role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines. The first-shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $26.07, though actual salary may vary based on work experience, training, education, and performance. The position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship. International relocation and remote work arrangements outside the United States are not considered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in CNC machining.
- At least one year of CNC experience.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
- Mechanical ability.

- CNC certification.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Load raw materials and ensure they are properly aligned and secured.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
