Williams International is hiring several CNC Machining Apprentices to begin in January 2027. Under the supervision of a Manufacturing Team Leader/Mentor, apprentices first complete a three-month pre-apprenticeship program covering safety, basic blueprint reading, basic machining on conventional lathes and mills, measurement, and parts verification. After successfully completing the pre-apprenticeship, apprentices are registered with the Department of Labor in a CNC Machining apprenticeship program. The two-year program combines on-the-job training with instructor-led courses through Oakland Community College, focused on CNC lathes, CNC mills, and advanced machining. After successful completion, the candidate finishes in an off-shift position as a permanent full-time employee.
