CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator / CNC Machinist with experience operating Swiss machines and CNC lathes. This role is responsible for producing precision machined parts using CNC equipment while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience operating CNC lathes or CNC machines
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma controls
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Understanding of machining tolerances and quality control
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals
- Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Swiss machining preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and Swiss-style CNC machines to machine precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and setup sheets
- Perform machine setup, tool changes, and basic program adjustments
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure tolerance compliance
- Work with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, and Okuma
- Load/unload materials and maintain efficient workflow
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues
- Maintain production output and efficiency targets
- Accurately document work orders, inspections, and production data
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are clean and operational
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
