About The Position

Ratliff Metal Spinning, a division of CaptiveAire, is hiring Production Workers to work as Machine Operators for our Englewood, Ohio manufacturing facility. This role involves operating a variety of CNC and manually controlled metal-forming equipment in a fast-paced, climate-controlled, and financially stable manufacturing environment. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and quality standards, with opportunities for on-the-job training and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and independently

  • Possesses basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools
  • Have basic computer and possesses strong organizational skills

  • Follows safety procedures and quality standards consistently

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word and Excel, preferred
  • CNC and prior production machine experience preferred
  • Have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of CNC and manually controlled metal-forming equipment in accordance with job specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and production requirements
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines
  • Perform test runs to ensure machines are operating according to specifications
  • Set and operate machines to complete full production cycles
  • Monitor machine operation throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to inspect finished parts for compliance with specifications
  • Perform routine daily maintenance and report equipment malfunctions as needed
  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies and established quality control procedures
  • Participate in on-the-job training and continuous process improvement initiatives
