We pride ourselves on the stability we provide our employees. We are seeking CNC Machinists to help support our operations. Machinists are responsible to produce parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Our focus to help operating machinists adhere to quality and safety standards in addition to completing accurate quality records as per SIS ISO standard requirements.

Requirements

  • 1 year previous machinist experience
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
  • Basic math and conduct conversions to practical situations
  • Able to lift 45lbs or less in a production environment

Nice To Haves

  • Machining: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
  • Reads and interprets basic mechanical blueprints proficiently
  • Properly and safely loads and unloads parts and raw material in CNC Machinery
  • Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
  • Recognizes and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
  • Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance task on CNC Machinery
  • Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and SIS's safety procedures
  • Complies with all quality policies, specification, regulations and instructions
  • Correctly utilizes manufacturing system (Epicor) and perform daily tasks and production workflows
  • Correctly identify basic materials
  • Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
  • Participate in required meetings and training
