About The Position

Ratliff Metal Spinning, a division of CaptiveAire, is hiring Production Workers to work as Machine Operators for our Englewood, Ohio manufacturing facility. This role is for individuals seeking meaningful work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled, and financially stable manufacturing environment. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and a negative drug screen. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rare overtime occasionally required.

Demonstrates honesty and reliability
Works effectively in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and independently
Possess basic math skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word and Excel, preferred
Able to follow verbal and written work instructions accurately
Have reliable transportation
Proficient in reading and writing English

CNC and prior production machine experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of CNC and manually controlled metal-forming equipment in accordance with job specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and production requirements
Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines
Perform test runs to ensure machines are operating according to specifications
Set and operate machines to complete full production cycles
Monitor machine operation throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and consistency
Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to inspect finished parts for compliance with specifications
Perform routine daily maintenance and report equipment malfunctions as needed
Adhere strictly to company safety policies and established quality control procedures
Participate in on-the-job training and continuous process improvement initiatives
