About The Position

Miller’s Health Systems is a 100% employee-owned company that provides long-term and short-term residential health care, outpatient care, and home health care services across Indiana. The Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) provides basic care to patients and assists them with daily activities. The CNA observes patients for changes in condition, promptly reports changes to the nursing team, and collects and records information relevant to patients’ conditions and treatment. The role may also serve as a first step toward a nursing career. This is a weekend-option position with hours from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Be certified in the State of Indiana.
• Be passionate about serving others and able to work with a dedicated team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
• Meet the basic qualifications set forth by the Indiana Department of Health, including the ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematics such as addition and subtraction.
• Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course.
• Satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered for employment at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to patients.
• Assist patients with their daily activities.
• Watch for changes in patients and promptly report them to the nursing team.
• Collect and record information relevant to patients’ conditions and treatment.
