CNA - Weekend Option
About The Position
American Village AL is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for a weekend option role. CNAs help foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment that prioritizes residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention. They assist residents with activities of daily living, provide companionship and reassurance, and collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to support coordinated care. The role calls for stamina to provide nursing services, a passion for geriatric nursing, and a commitment to senior care excellence. Team members are expected to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
- Have the ability to work toward shared goals and support a respectful, positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
