About The Position

Preferred Care at Home is hiring a CNA in Fort Lauderdale to help seniors stay safely and comfortably in their own homes. Caregivers are matched with clients based on their schedules and experience and receive support after starting. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, consistent assignments, weekly pay, and direct deposit.

The CNA provides personal care and companionship, assists with mobility, transfers, and daily routines, and documents care while keeping families and nurses informed. Applicants must have current training and certifications at the time they apply and pass a Level 2 background check. Applicants who appear to be a fit will be scheduled for a short video interview.

Requirements

• Active state CNA license.
• Current Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training.
• Current HIV/AIDS CEU.
• Current CPR / First Aid certification.
• Current Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia-Related Disorders CEU.
• Must pass a Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities
