About The Position
Miller’s Health Systems is seeking a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) to provide basic care to patients and assist them with daily activities. The CNA observes patients for changes and promptly reports them to the nursing team, and collects and records information relevant to patients’ conditions and treatment. The role may also serve as a first step toward a career in nursing. Weekend option positions are available in 8-, 12-, or 16-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Be certified in the State of Indiana.
- Be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematics, such as addition and subtraction, in accordance with Indiana Department of Health basic qualifications.
- Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course.
- Satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered for employment at the facility.
- Be passionate about serving others.
- Be able to work with a dedicated team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
- Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (Exposure Category I).
