About The Position
At the Suites of Someren Glen, the CNA is an essential member of the Nursing Team, helping residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living in ways that meet their individual needs. The role provides whole-person care across residents’ social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs. CNAs contribute to everyday care planning, personalize care based on residents’ preferences, and work closely with the team to support residents. The organization offers opportunities for career growth, including paths into nursing.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in good standing in Colorado.
- Genuine compassion and patience for older adults, including those living with dementia.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Reliability and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or memory care.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily hygiene care for residents with dignity and respect.
- Learn each resident’s preferences and personalize their care.
- Document care accurately and promptly report changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
- Follow safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
- Keep the supervisor updated on each resident’s status and condition.
- Support the team with other duties as needed.
