About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant is an essential member of the Nursing Team at the Suites of Someren Glen. The role supports residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living while caring for each person’s social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs. CNAs have a voice in everyday care planning and deliver care tailored to residents’ individual needs and preferences. The organization offers opportunities for career growth, including paths toward nursing. This is a part-time, day-shift position with 8-hour shifts, listed as 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The posted wage range is $23 to $26.60 per hour.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in good standing in Colorado or the applicant’s state.
- Genuine compassion and patience for older adults, including people living with dementia.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Reliability and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or memory care.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily hygiene care for residents with dignity and respect.
- Learn residents’ preferences and personalize their care.
- Document care accurately and promptly report changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
- Follow safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
- Keep the supervisor updated on each resident’s status and condition.
- Support the team with other duties as needed.
