About The Position
The CNA provides compassionate, dependable 1:1 care for seniors and adults with chronic health conditions. The role supports clients’ safety, dignity, comfort, and independence through assistance with daily living, companionship, mobility, health monitoring, and household tasks. Experience includes Parkinson’s disease care, memory care, and cognitive support. Guaranteed shifts are available from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Pay starts at $17.00. Requirements
- Experience providing 1:1 care for seniors and adults with chronic health conditions.
- Skills in assisting with activities of daily living, companionship, mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and care documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and memory care or cognitive support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, and help prevent falls through safety monitoring.
- Provide incontinence care.
- Give medication reminders and monitor health.
- Prepare meals, encourage hydration, and support nutrition.
- Assist with transportation and appointments.
- Perform household management, laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Assist with pet care.
- Communicate with family members and coordinate care.
- Document care.
